WHAT'S YOUR REACTION?

Bend is a downtown party scene while Sunriver Resort is all encompassing with four courses on property plus Tetherow and Pronghorn nearby. Bike or hike the Sunriver trails or head to the marina for kayaks and boats to float down the Little Deschutes River and commune eye to eye with the ducks. Explore more rivers and lakes or the Cascade mountains in the area. In spring or fall you might ski Mt. Bachelor in the morning and golf in shorts in the afternoon as we did a few years back when neither rain nor snow could keep us from our appointed rounds. While there are many great courses to conquer in Bend, Crosswater offers the best of the private membership amenities at Sunriver Resort. It is the birthplace of eaglets in May and the permanent grave site of the pioneer Allen family beside the 11thgreen. As the only crazy golfers playing in a snow storm, we had an unforgettable round.

Sunriver Resort provides a nucleus for reunions of families and friends or conferences like IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators). Held last June, Sunriver partnered with other entities to showcase all of Oregon in grand style from Bandon to Portland, Tualatin Valley to Silvies Valley Ranch which brought one of their goat caddies for a photo op. IAGTO attendees from around the world shared their destinations with tour operators from Vietnam to Normandy, Panama to British Columbia and all parts between. Golf is a global connection like no other. The IAGTO golf tournament facilitated our play on the Crosswater course again, this time on a warm and sunny day. In any weather it is a joy to play and Sunriver is the place to stay with convenient shuttles to downtown.

Flights are easy to book in and out of Redmond/Bend.
