The feature item of the Spring/Summer Sport Layers Collection from Sunice is the Derby down-filled jacket, a perfect balance of style and function. In fact the entire Collection focuses on providing golfers the best performance outerwear available and keeping the company’s promise for a balance of style complimenting the technical aspects of the garments.
The new Derby jacket is ultralight weight filled with down for warmth making an ideal layer for any wardrobe. All the Sunice Performance Layers are designed to create an apparel layering system that allows golfers to play at their very best in all weather conditions. The Derby is ideal for cool mornings or damp dawns early in the season, when an extra layer is needed without the extra bulk or weight. Thermal properties combined with moisture wicking attributes, and bright color combinations are just a few of the details that make these layering pieces stand out from the rest.
“The Derby jacket was ergonomically designed for total freedom of movement during the golf swing”, says Micheline Gallant, Sunice Golf apparel designer. “We placed stretch inserts in all the key areas and positioned the down-filled parts in the places were the body needs to stay warm. The result is a jacket that works really efficiently and it looks great on any man as it accentuates the shoulders.”
The men’s collections, instead of the usual use of black and charcoals accented with color, Sunice took the color and popped with the basic shades. Neon greens, vibrant blues and rich yellows trimmed with color staples of pure white, grey and blacks reinvents modern golf by adding fashion to the science of the game. The prints that were once classic patterns utilized to follow a more traditional course were then deconstructed to add the unexpected – giving them a more Sunice feel.
