Many of us are watching the weather every day waiting until it becomes pleasant enough to emerge from hibernation and onto the golf course. Technically spring begins March 20th, but we cannot shed our layers soon enough.  New Englanders know to always be prepared for all types of weather.  No matter where you travel to in New England the weather is always different and changing.  Luckily the Internet, Doppler radar, and weather forecasters, although over-the-top at times, predict the weather for us.  No one hits the links in a Nor’easter, but some golfers are hard-core and love the game so much they are willing to play through unfavorable conditions.  Fortunately there are garments that will allow for comfort while doing so.

Sunice Women’s Jacket

Veterans like Arnie Cunningham and Carolyn Gowan contribute to Sunice’s success because hey know what tour players want and how Sunice can benefit the world’s best golfers.

Sunice uses durable construction methods while blending fashion-forward styling using the latest in technical specialty fabrics.  Innovative designs such as waterproof zippers, waterproof pockets, and seam sealing enforces you will stay dry no matter the conditions.
To differentiate these fabrics to Sunice has created a coding system depending on the severity of the elements and length of exposure.  Hurricane is for Intense Precipitation for 8 hours of exposure and has a lifetime waterproof guarantee, Tornado is for Intense Precipitation 6 hours with a 4-year waterproof guarantee, Typhoon is similar to Tornado except it is for moderate to steady precipitation, Storm is for light to moderate precipitation and 4 hours and with a 2 year waterproof guarantee.  They also have their Sunice Sport line with moisture wicking technology and wind protection. Most jackets even have gutters on the sleeve cuffs to prevent water from running down sleeves to glove and club. With fabrics that are breathable yet repel the water off the garment.  This is especially important if the ground is wet you do not want to kick up mud and get it on your socks.
If it is raining out, it is difficult to swing with a hood on.  The rain still drips in your face and you can’t quit find a comfortable way to get a good angle on your drive.  To avoid this problem, Sunice created waterproof hats.  They come in a variety of styles including a baseball cap and a bucket hat.   They are Gore-Tex as well and completely waterproof.
