FootJoy, already a major player in the golf footwear business, is coming out with what they are calling the M:PROJECT line of lightweight, ultra-flexible shoes featuring minimal construction.”At FJ we believe that there is no single shoe that is best suited for every type of player which is why the Footwear team develops products with specific types of players in mind.” said Mike Foley, Director of Marketing, Footwear.
“The M:PROJECT is the perfect extension to FJ’s performance lineup. This new category targets players seeking lower profile, minimalist-type footwear. Not only does the player get a better sense of the ground beneath them, they also are more tuned-in to the movement of their lower half throughout the swing.”
Each shoe in the line is manufactured using M:SPEC leather by Pittards and the MP:627 Last with lots of room in the forefoot so the toes can spread and grip. Softspikes low profile Stealth Cleats and breathable mesh upper complete the package. M:PROJECT has five cleated and five spikeless shoes in the line with the cleated models having the M:SPEC leather. Three of the five spikeless models are offered with high performance mesh upper construction.
Suggested retail price will be $145.00 for Cleated Leather, $165.00 for Cleated Leather with a special closure feature and $135.00 for all the spikeless models.WHAT'S YOUR REACTION?
