Yay for the USA LPGA team’s Solheim success and yay for Antigua and Zero Restriction suiting them up. The process is lengthier than one might think, starting as soon as the captain is selected. This year Juli Inkster met with Antigua’s Senior Designer, Danielle Dellios to draft a uniform strategy. No doubt, the partnership worked to pump up the team spirit. Juli wanted a little preppy look, loving the stripes. This was Danielle’s third year outfitting the US Solheim team. She was previously disappointed about not using red bottoms. It seems there was a superstition about it but this year they decided on a color theme for each day and red was not left out. Excuse the saying, but perhaps a little red ass was needed to seal the deal.
The pros were excited about their apparel fitting by Antigua at the LPGA Founder’s Cup in Phoenix in March. It is very noteworthy how all the different body types look so attractive in the team designs. In fact several of the LPGA gals wear Antigua regularly in play. The Hero long sleeve shown underneath should be a warm layer staple in any woman’s closet.
