After a hard winter and though some might be in doubt spring is coming, New Balance wants golfers to be ready to hit the links with three new models of golf shoes to be in shops in April.
The Men’s 2003 with cleated outsole has a performance fit last with a waterproof mesh upper with a TPU stability cage that provides ultralight support plus there’s a REVLite® 10mm drop midsole for lightweight cushioning. The outsole uses the Champ One-Lok® Zarma Tour cleat system so the 2003 weighs only 11.1 ounces. There’s a two-year waterproof warranty and the 2003 will have a suggested retail of $134.95.
Men also have the choice of the Men’s 1000 model built on New Balance’s popular Minimus last used in training and running shoes. The outsole is spikeless and the microfiber leather upper is waterproof with a REVLite® 4mm drop midsole. The insole of Ortholite® gives cool, dry comfort and the dual density integrated outsole gives excellent traction. The 1000 weighs just 8.8 ounces, has a two-year waterproof warranty and a suggested retail of $109.95.
Ladies will like the Women’s 1001 with a spikeless outsole also built on the Minimus last with a breathable, water-resistant mesh upper, no-sew synthetic overlays and the REVLite® 4mm drop midsole. The 1001 weighs just 6.7 ounces and is available in two colorways; grey with a hologram insert and white with grey highlights for a suggested retail of $89.95.WHAT'S YOUR REACTION?
