“Same Day – Same Time – Everywhere Around the World”

June 7, 2016 from 4pm-8pm is Women’s Golf Day. All golf clubs are invited to participate in this event to engage and advocate for girls and women to play golf. Women are responsible for the majority of family decisions and are a great influence, therefore it’s crucial that they have a positive experience around golf.

All courses are invited to be involved with Women’s Golf Day!
– No matter where or what country, clubs host the event on June 7 from 4pm-8pm.womensGolfDay2
– Free for courses to participate. The course sets the price they want to charge and can either choose to make it a free event or private(great in the case of private clubs). This is a great event for generating new interest or business and for private clubs as member recognition.

GOLF COURSE FORMAT
4pm-6pm – Players have the choice of:
2 Hours of Lessons – One hour on the driving range and one hour chipping and putting.
OR
2 Hours of Play – A 9-hole scramble or play your own ball as long as the round can be completed in 2 hours.

6pm – 8pm – There will be sharing of information concerning lessons, league play, and ways to get involved in golf as well as socializing and networking. Please include as many people and organizations from your community that are involved with golf who can contribute to the event. In some locations speakers, women’s golf teams from the closest university or high school, corporate networking groups, etc. can be recommended.
Admirably it is suggested that you include as many of the following as possible: Speaker / Prizes / Refreshments.

 

RETAIL FORMAT
4pm-6pm – Basic Instruction
2 Hours of Basic Instruction and Lessons – Try driving in the simulators or driving range and chipping and putting on the putting greens while having the women rotate. Basics should be reviewed, such as holding the club and set up position. Hold driving and putting contests. Prizes.

6pm-8pm – There will be sharing of information concerning lessons, league play, and ways to get involved in golf as well as socializing and networking. Please include as many people and organizations from your community that are involved with golf who can contribute to the event. In some locations speakers, women’s golf teams from the closest university or high school, corporate networking groups, etc.  can be recommended.
Admirably it is suggested that you include as many of the following as possible: Speaker / Prizes / Refreshments.
