The new TW ’15 shoe is Tiger Woods’ latest signature golf shoe and the first to feature Nike’s breakthrough Flyweave technology upper. The first model was worn by Woods as a prototype in 2011 and since each model in the series a Nike Free-inspired outsole with refinements in design and construction.

“Nike keeps answering the bell every time I want to push the envelope,” said Woods. “The new Flyweave technology provides even more stability and support for my foot, and when you pair that with the Free-inspired outsole, I noticed I can push off the ground better and finish my swing with power.”

The TW ’15 brings together Nike’s Dynamic Flywire construction in the Flyweave upper and the Nike Free design outsole.

Flyweave is a one-piece upper woven for high strength-to-weight support but it is very lightweight and flexible like the Flyweave in basketball shoes back last year. Even though movement demands of a basketball player’s feet are different from those of a golfer, both require stability and a natural range of motion.

Due to the lightweight Flyweave technology and the golf-specific Nike Free-inspired outsole, designers were able to make the TW ’15 ten percent lighter than the previous model. Priced at $200 The TW ’15 comes in three color combinations: University Red/Black, Metallic Silver/Black and Black/White.
