For three decades Tour Edge Golf has been successful making high quality clubs that challenge the performance of those from the major manufacturers. Now the company led by club designer David Glod is recommitting itself to their original brand message, “Golf’s Most Solid Investment” with the introduction of the Hot Launch 2 family.
In addition to an array of custom options and Tour Edge’s lifetime warranty the Hot Launch 2 are priced at extremely competitive levels such as the Hot Launch 2 driver. It is loft adjustable (8.5 to 12.5 degrees) and the 460 cc titanium clubhead has a cup face construction. Priced at $200 its stablemate offset model, designed to help correct a slice, is $170.
Fairway woods are constructed with a variable face thickness to provide more trampoline effect for added yards and the head has weight positioned towards the sole which lowers the center of gravity for higher launch and more forgiveness. Both the regular and offset model will sell for $130. Hot Launch 2 hybrids have club heads made from 450 SS hyper steel with a forged maraging steel face, also with variable face thickness. They will be available in 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-hybrid lofts for $110 each.
Also part of the series are updated Iron-woods sold either separately or as part of a seven piece set. Constructed similarly to the Hot Launch 2 hybrids the seven piece set of 2- through lob wedge will be $500 or $80 separately. Hot Launch 2 irons are made from soft 431 stainless steel and may be customized to the user. With steel shafts a set is $400 and with graphite shafts $500.
Orders are being accepted now with a Sept. 19 ship date and all the Hot Launch 2 family of clubs will direct ship for arrival in 48 hours at no upcharge.WHAT'S YOUR REACTION?
