DJ’s Clubs That Won The Northern Trust

Dustin Johnson won The Northern Trust played at Glen Oaks Club, Old Westbury, N.Y., after a one-hole playoff over Open champion Jordan Spieth. The TNT tournament was the first of the four FedEx Cup playoff events that culminate with the Tour Championship played at East Lake Country Club outside Atlanta.

Johnson achieved his fourth win of the season, and first win since being injured from a fall the evening before the Masters, by overtaking third round leader Spieth on the front nine Sunday and then winning the first sudden death hole with a birdie to Spieth’s par. Jhonattan Vegas and Jon Rahm finished in a tie for third at minus nine, four shots behind the lead. The 100 players with the highest FedEx Cup point totals now move on to the Dell Technologies Championship in Boston next week.

In addition to The Northern Trust trophy DJ earned a check for $1,575,000.

Dustin Johnson fired his Spider Tour putter he had used for his first three wins this season and putted with a TaylorMade prototype milled face TP Juno blade saying he had become too mechanical with the Spider.
