The International and Still River Outfitters have joined forces to offer local residents two great outings, in one.
The International will offer evening snowshoeing tours for members of its Dinner Club as an extra activity that families and couples can do to enjoy the weekends.
The Dinner Club at The International is a new program that allows residents in close proximity of The International Golf Club & Resort to enjoy it’s restaurant, The Fireplace Room, over the Winter, and part of an overall plan to make it a four-season Resort and Destination.
The snowshoe tour will include snowshoe rental and a 1.5-hour evening tour and hike across the giant pines by moonlight. Dinner Club members can then dine by the fire with their family or friends after this fresh air tour.
“We have so much to offer here at The International, we want people to know that and to take advantage of every aspect of that,” says Dan Weadock, CEO of The International. “Working with a local business to make our resort and town more attractive, is part of an overall strategy we are building upon.”
Still River Outfitters is officially located at Orange Lake Resort at Ascutney Mountain in Vermont, but does offer services in Massachusetts.
“This is a great opportunity for Still River Outfitters to work with local residents and introduce people to the beauty and nature of The International property,” says David Cudmore, Bolton Resident and CEO of Still River Outfitters. “We are very excited to be able to offer this service to members of the International and it’s Dinner Club members.”
The Dinner Club offers weekly changing menus, wine pairing menus and themed events to attract locals to dine closer to home.
“We want to give people a “taste of the International” says Paul Jordan, VP of Food and Beverage at The International. “We make weekly dining at The Fireplace Room new and exciting, offering quality cuisine and a unique experience equivalent only downtown Boston restaurants.”
The International Dinner Club is family friendly, and offers a healthy kids menu at an average price of about $8 per child. We even offer a children’s steak dinner for $12 to build upon the popularity our Steak Nights.
Dinner Club runs from January 22nd, through March 2010, family memberships are $99 but use the NEGM promo code and you will receive membership for $79. Click here to inquire about joining.
