The 2013-2014 PGA TOUR season is well underway and 25% complete. Our PGA TOUR players for Team New England have all made an appearance as the Tour moves from the California Desert and the Humana Challenge in partnership with the Clinton Foundation to the cliffs over the Pacific at Torrey Pines (South) in San Diego for the Farmers Insurance Open.

Looking at our TNE players as they begin play at Torrey Pines, Keegan Bradley has earned $379,995 in his 3 starts, J.J.Henry $235,146 in 5 starts, James Driscoll has checked for $205,408 and Scott Stallings $30,421, each with 5 starts. Jim Renner, who regained his PGA TOUR Card for this season has missed the cut in his first 3 starts. Tim Petrovic is playing both the PGA and Web.Com, as he works to regain full status on the PGA TOUR, and has $25,833 in earnings with 1 start. It was nice to see Brett Quigley play all four rounds at the Humana Challenge earning $10,260. We hope to see more of Brett this year.

The entire roster of Team New England is either in the Farmers Insurance Open field or on the Alternate list. Bradley, Stallings, Henry, Renner, and Driscoll are in the field with Petrovic and Quigley listed as alternates.

The Champions Tour started its 2014 season with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship and Brad Faxon is the only member of TNE to suit up for the Tour’s inaugural event. Fax earned $30,000. We look forward to seeing Billy Andrade out there as he turns 50 on the 25th of January.  Dana Quigley, I understand, hopes be back in action at the Allianz Championship February 7-9 and we hope to see Allen Doyle in action soon.

The LPGA TOUR begins the 2014 season this week in the Bahamas and the Pure Silk Bahama LPGA Classic.  We are anxious to see TNE’s Alison Walshe out walking the fairways again this year on the LPGA TOUR.

The Web.Com Tour’s 2014 schedule was recently announced and the tour kicks off its season February 13-16 with the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship in Bogota, Columbia. The LPGA Symetra Futures Tour season is set to get underway in late February with the Visit Mesa.Com Gateway Classic in Mesa, AZ.

The 2014 tour season holds a lot of promise for Team New England so stay tuned.
