Tara Joy-Connelly, Cam Wilson, Bobby Leopold and Brad Valois were named to the first Global Golf Post ALL AM TEAM.

Tara Joy-Connelly from Massachusetts, a member of the WGAM, was named to the Mid-Amateur Women’s 1st Team.

Highlights of Tara’s 2013 season include being a quarter-finalist in the U.S. Women’s Mid Amateur Championship, top 20 USGA Woman’s State Team Championship and winner of the 2013 Massachusetts Women’s Amateur Championship.

Cam Wilson, Rowayton, Connecticut, received Honorable Mention in the Men’s Amateur division. Wilson is a senior at Stanford University where he is a member of the Stanford Golf Team.

Brad Valois  won the Rhode Island Amateur Championship, was runner up in the New England Amateur Championship and won Rhode Island Player of the Year honors. Bobby Leopold earned the RIGA Joseph J. Sprague Sr. Stroke Average Award with a stroke average of 70.9. Both Rhode Islanders received Honorable Mention in the Men’s Mid Amateur Division.

 The Global Golf Post is the first designed-for-digital weekly golf news publication in the world. The Post was launched in 2010.

This is the first year for the All-Amateur Teams selections made by Global Golf Post. The categories include amateur selections in Men’s Amateur, Mid Amateur and Senior Amateur levels of golf and include both men’s and women’s divisions. Selections were made from a list players from across the world.

The accomplishments of the four players from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut are well documented. We congratulate Tara Joy-Connelly, Cam Wilson, Bobby Leopold and Brad Valois on being recognized in the first Global Golf Post All-Am Team.
