Sometimes you just don’t want to lug your clubs on a trip whether you need them overnight or not. We decided on our cross-country trek from Arizona to upstate New York that we couldn’t fit all the boxes of lemons from our tree for friends and still have room for our clubs. We were only playing one course along the way (Quail Chase Golf Club in Louisville) and they had two loaner sets we could use.
While there are several companies that will transport golf clubs for you, we were steered toward Golf Overnight even though we didn’t need them that quickly. Quick however was the response to our need and efficient was the process. The clubs could have been picked up at our home but we chose to drop them off at their selected courier around the corner with a slip of paper printed from an email. They took care of packing and delivering to our home course as requested, on time and without damage. When we arrived at Barker Brook Golf Club in Oriskany Falls, we were welcomed with hugs by Mike the owner, super starter John, mascot dog Riley, and our golf clubs. There is no place like home. We were ready to hit the beautiful green rolling hills of Barker Brook.
The excess space in our Kia Soul was indeed filled with luscious lemons from our tree that were happily received from Oklahoma to Massachusetts where Timmy Ray Branco squeezed them over the best homemade stuffed lobster in the world – a labor of true love. But we digress. Whether flying, driving, needing the clubs soon or next day, Golf Overnight delivers convenience and clubs. Complimentary insurance is included for all bag shipments and they offer additional insurance if desired. Shipments are guaranteed to arrive on time. If in the rare instance bags arrive after the quoted date, they pay you $250 to cover your rentals as a way to make amends. They are counting on overnight success.
