In Southwest Florida, check out Vasari Country Club, a “bundled” community in Bonita Springs
If you’re looking for a second home or even a permanent residence in the Naples, Florida area but find the prices a bit too steep for what you’re looking for, consider going a bit north of the city to Bonita Springs just south of Fort Myers. We have looked at most of these golf communities in the Bonita Springs area and find some especially worth considering. Take Vasari Country Club, a private gated community.
Low-rise condominiums, single- family homes and villas are nestled among lakes and wooded areas—many have wonderful golf course views. There is also a 40-acre lake. and a 375-acre conservation area in the center of the property. Many of the units have large enclosed verandahs and garages.
The golf course is bundled (included in the purchase price). Originally designed by Gordon Lewis it has been updated by Billy Fuller. The 18-hole layout winds through the complex of homes yet large setbacks or water buffer the home lots. On site is an Aqua driving range, two short game practicing areas, large putting green, community pool, spa, hot tub, pro shop, six tennis courts, fitness center, a variety of social club, lovely club house and walking trails. Beaches are close by.
