The torrent of rain that disturbed play on Saturday at the PGA’s 2015 Honda Classic turned a day of suspended golf into an afternoon of dining, shopping, and making new friends. The PGA National Golf Resort could not have been more accommodating.
Ever wonder where the fans retreat when the fog horn blows and the players are shuttled off the course? While some tournaments have no choice but to leave thousands of fans fending for themselves, PGA National could not have been happier to welcome spectators into their pro-shop, bars, dining rooms, and retail shops; nearly selling out of rain gear and featuring quality brands such as Oakley and Robert Graham.

Despite the multiple weather delays, one thing fans could attest to is that as long as the play goes on, so too will die-hard golf fans! The Florida temperatures may have remained in the 70’s, but the rain and winds were brutal. Of all our favorite outerwear sightings from spectators out on the course, Best In Show went to Adidas.
