2UNDR took the PGA Merchandise Show by storm a few years back when they introduced their revolutionary design – men’s undies with a joey pouch. They were handing out samples in the booth and it got pretty crazy until every size, every color was claimed. When they returned the next year, the booth was first on many lists in hopes of more samples. The retail price is on the high side but any man fan will tell you, it is worth it. Since then others have followed suit in trying to suit up men’s packages.
UFM (Underwear for Men) has 2 styles, boxer briefs and briefs, available in either wicking or nylon fabrics. Their patented drawstring technology is meant to isolate, provide additional lift and support for those who need it. Black, blue, gray and red are their manly color options.
Kentwool jumped into the underwear scene last year, naturally expanding from the sock world, same drawer in the dresser, right? They use super fine 17.5 micron Merino wool which regulates body temperature and prevents chafing.
Tommy John Air fabric is so soft it feels like a second skin, like going commando plus it is anti microbial and anti odor. Undies can be washed in the sink and dried in 2 hours, perfect for light traveling. They also have socks with a a stay put band that they claim saves 217 minutes a year not having to pull socks up.
Donald Ross added boxer shorts to their fine golf collection but with classic styling. They believe in generous fit for maximum comfort. Fabrics and stripe patterns mirror their line of dress shirts.
2UNDR on the other hand is now displaying some lively prints and are confident in providing plenty of support where men need it. Might they carry that over to a garment for ladies where they need it? Well, that’s a bit more complicated and many brands exist to satisfy the intricacies and whims of women’s lingerie including Victoria’s Secret.
Maybe they should stick with Victor’s Secret?
