SQAIRZ athletes dominated the World Long Drive Open in Portland, CT, with SQAIRZ Ambassadors Justin James and Mai Dechathipat winning First place trophies in the Men’s and Women’s divisions and Kelly Rudney winning Third place this past weekend.
This is 2017 World Long Drive champion Justin James’s second 2023 win in SQAIRZ, after winning in Hobe Sound, FL, in April. Ranked Fourth worldwide, Justin James trusts SQAIRZ as a solid foundation for long drives that surpass 400 yards.
Mai Dechathipat, who is ranked 8th globally and achieved a second-place finish in the 2021 PLDA Championship, has been a longtime supporter of SQAIRZ and was wearing the men’s SPEED during her First place finish on Saturday.
In response to this double-win on Saturday, Bob Winskowicz, the Founder and CEO of SQAIRZ responded, “Seeing our athletes perform at such a high level this past weekend was an incredible continuation to a season that has now seen multiple World Long Drive wins as well as Tour wins for SQAIRZ athletes like Justin James, Mai Dechathipat and Sepp Straka. We are so proud to see SQAIRZ shoes delivering on our promise to translate balance and stability into increased ground force and unsurpassable distance for our athletes. . Congratulations to Justin and Mai for their outstanding accomplishments, we are looking forward to a strong finish to the 2023 World Long Drive season.”
We’ve long believed that golf shoes should be more than mere accessories, they are the foundation of every swing and should be drivers of true performance. The vision for SQAIRZ started on a New England driving range, where a pair of square-toed dress shoes spurred a visual realization. It continued through years of research into ground force reaction, biomechanics and foot movement. It has culminated in award-winning shoes, now played on Tour, that will help every golfer hit more accurate and powerful shots. SQAIRZ is inspired by developing shoes that will change the shape of your game.WHAT'S YOUR REACTION?
