Those outside and unprotected during these hours are at the highest risk of getting burned and will often experience the most discomfort. Because of this, it’s best to make your golfing plans for outside of this period.

Wear Covering Clothing

Another important tip for protecting your skin while golfing is to wear clothing that effectively covers you. The less skin you expose to the elements, the fewer areas that can sustain damage. Items as simple as a light jacket and long pants can do wonders to block the sun’s rays and prevent your cells from burning. So if you know you’re going to be spending all day out on the course, ensure you have what you need to stay covered up.

Take Breaks in the Shade

Then, finally, remember to take breaks and seek out shade whenever possible. As with any activity, taking breaks is essential to cooling down and keeping yourself hydrated.
