For the new golf season Callaway Golf has three new drivers the Mavrik, Mavrik Sub Zero and Mavrik Max that use second generation designs created by a supercomputer. Applying the power of the supercomputer making use of artificial intelligence plus machine learning the Mavriks have a variable thickness face plus internal ribbing for strength and acoustic performance.

The supercomputer allowed multiple design trials (actually thousands) in a relatively short time taking into account a range of variables, something impossible to accomplish by any other method.

Mavrik drivers have a Flash Face SS20 configuration of FS2S titanium alloy that is thinner over a larger area compared to last year’s Epic Flash driver but since the alloy is stronger it also weighs less. Six grams were saved and relocated to make the Mavrik even easier to hit and produce a higher trajectory. All three models use Callaway’s unique titanium rods running from crown to sole (Jailbreak technology), have crowns of T2C Triaxial Carbon and fixed hosels.

Introduction at retail will be Jan. 23 with each priced at $499. Callaway also is introducing Mavrik fairway woods ($299) and hybrids ($249) with many of the same features to compliment the driver.
