Tampa

There’s plenty to do for people of all ages in Tampa, from exploring glistening beaches to the thriving arts district—but for golfers, the big attraction is the renowned Streamsong Resort. Streamsong offers both quality and quantity to golfers, and three of its courses are recognized by Golf Digest as some of the best public courses in the US.

But that’s not all Tampa has to offer! There’s also the Innisbrook Resort, which is home to the Copperhead Course, the venue for the PGA Tour’s Valspar Championship every year. There’s no shortage of championship-quality courses in Tampa to test your skills.

Jacksonville

With nearly twice the population of Miami, there’s plenty to do and explore in Jacksonville! Along with tour-quality courses, Jacksonville is also home to some of the best public courses in the state and country, so you don’t have to commit to one resort for the entire vacation. For total golf immersion, check out Jacksonville’s famous World Golf Village.

TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course is the crown jewel of the city and host of The Players Championship. As a thrilling course with razor-thin margins for error, TPC Sawgrass will challenge every aspect of your game, from the long ball to the short game.

The 30A

If you’re looking for a vacation destination with lots to offer and plenty of courses, you should consider the 30A area in Northwest Florida. Between Destin and Panama City is the 30A area, a stretch of highway filled with must-visit beaches and high-quality golf courses!

Some renowned golf courses in the 30A area include:

  • Raven Golf Club
  • Baytowne Golf Club
  • Burnt Pine Golf Club
  • The Links Course
  • Seascape Golf Course

Orlando

Few cities have as much to offer for family vacations as Orlando, the Theme Park Capital of the World. But there’s plenty of fun for golfers in Orlando, too, with award-winning courses and resorts!

Every year, the Bay Hill Club & Lodge hosts the celebrated Arnold Palmer Invitational so that you can test your game on the same course as some of the best golfers in the world! If you’re a golf history buff, the Reunion Resort is a must-do with three courses designed by three of the game’s legends: Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Arnold Palmer!

As you can see, golfers have plenty of vacation options in Florida! Where will you go first, the beaches and courses of the 30A or the renowned resorts of Tampa?
