GOLF UNDER THE LIGHTS AT FAIRMONT GRAND DEL MAR
-New lighting on the practice green makes for fun après golf options-
Whether it’s settling their bets, improving their games, or just letting the good times (and putts) roll, some golfers simply can’t get enough. To help them extend their fun, The Grand Golf Club at Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego completed this week the installation of state-of-the-art LED lighting on its practice green.
Located near Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s Clubhouse Grill, with its excellent California-inspired cuisine as well as locally produced wines and micro-brews, the lighted putting green is an outstanding happy hour option for resort groups, friends and family get-togethers. Lessons and clinics can even be arranged with The Grand Golf Club’s award-winning instructional team.
“We have the best weather in the country and it just makes sense to light up the practice area so more of our guests can enjoy it throughout the day,” said Shawn Cox, Director of Golf at The Grand Golf Club. “The lights create a nice hub of activity that encourages interaction and friendly competition in an inviting, laid-back atmosphere.”
The putting green is available nightly and is complimentary for all resort guests. Complimentary rental clubs also are available.
